This Privacy Policy describes how SummerLynns Management Inc. ("SummerLynns," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects information provided by clients and website visitors. By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We collect information you provide when you inquire about our services, complete intake forms, enter into a service agreement, or communicate with us. This may include:

- Financial information necessary to coordinate payroll and workforce administration services.
- Login credentials or platform access provided for service delivery purposes.
1.2 Payment Information
When you make a payment, transaction data is processed through your selected payment method. SummerLynns accepts Stripe, PayPal, Zelle, ACH bank transfer, and cash. For card payments processed through Stripe, payment data is collected and stored by Stripe directly. SummerLynns does not store full card numbers or sensitive payment credentials. Stripe's privacy practices are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy available at stripe.com/privacy. PayPal transactions are governed by PayPal's Privacy Policy available at paypal.com/privacy.
1.3 Information Collected Automatically
If you visit our website, we may collect standard technical data including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on pages. This information is used for website analytics and improvement only.
1.4 Information from Third-Party Platforms
In the course of delivering services, we may receive information about your employees or team members through third-party payroll, HR, or operational platforms. This information is used solely to perform the services outlined in your service agreement and is not stored beyond what is necessary for service delivery.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
SummerLynns uses the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To deliver the services outlined in your service agreement.
- To communicate with you about your engagement, including updates, requests for information, and service delivery.
- To coordinate payroll, PTO tracking, workforce administration, or CRM and systems support on your behalf.
- To send invoices and process payments through your selected payment method.
- To maintain accurate records of services delivered.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use your information for marketing purposes without your consent. We do not sell your information to third parties.
3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
SummerLynns does not sell, rent, or trade client information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Payment processors: Payment data is shared with Stripe, PayPal, or your financial institution as necessary to process transactions. Each processor operates under its own privacy policy and security standards.
- Service platforms: We access and manage third-party operational platforms on your behalf as part of service delivery. Your data within those platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies.
- Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
- Business protection: We may disclose information to protect the rights, property, or safety of SummerLynns, our clients, or others.
4. DATA SECURITY
SummerLynns takes reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect client information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. Card payments processed through Stripe benefit from Stripe's PCI DSS compliant infrastructure. We use secure communication channels for all client correspondence and limit access to client information to those directly involved in service delivery.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we take data security seriously, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. DATA RETENTION
We retain client information for as long as necessary to deliver services and fulfill our legal, tax, and contractual obligations. Upon termination of a service agreement, we retain records for a minimum of seven years in accordance with standard business record-keeping practices, unless a shorter period is required or permitted by law.
You may request deletion of your information by contacting us at veronica@summerlynns.com. Requests will be honored to the extent permitted by applicable law and our record-keeping obligations.
6. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at veronica@summerlynns.com. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.
7. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS AND PAYMENT PROCESSORS
Our services involve the use of third-party operational platforms and payment processors. Your use of those platforms is subject to their own privacy policies and terms of service. SummerLynns is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party platforms or payment processors. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any platform through which you transact or share data.
8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this document and notify active clients by email. Continued engagement with our services following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
